Ahwatukee Air Conditioner Systems

From the Crow indian word for "House of Dreams," Ahwatukee (Ah-wa-too-kee) is certainly home to many dream homes today. With unparelleled mountain and desert vistas out every window, the Ahwatukee community is nestled between South Mountain Park and the Gila River Indian reservation in south Phoenix. Before the 1800s Indians hunted and farmed throughout the area where later there were 32 gold and silver mines registered.

Ahwatukee
The first home was built for a wealthy dentist, Dr. Ames in 1921. When Helen Brinton purchased a home here in 1935 she named it Ahwatukee and the name eventually was applied to the entire community. It has been expanding since 1971, when several development companies bought large tracks of land next to South Mountain for planned communities. Ahwatukee is now one of the fastest growing areas in the Valley. Currently the population stands at around 85,000 and could reach a high of 120,000. Although the area still has the feel of a small town, all the amenities of a big city are right over the hill.

A peaceful and wealthy neighbourhood, Ahwatukee is particularly attractive for families with its year-round outdoor activities and great schools. It even has its own Rod Stewart look-a-like.

With Ahwatukee's average summertime tempuratures close to 105 degrees F, efficient air conditioner systems are essential. The expert technicians at HVAC Doctors specialize in ensuring that AC systems work at their maximum effectiveness throughout the year with regular inspections and maintenance. But even with the best preventative maintenance, units can still break down. If they do, HVAC Doctors will be there quickly (usually within 24hrs) to keep you cool.

HVAC Doctors also provides heating systems expertise for cold winter nights in the "Land of Perpetual Sunlight."

Great weather, plenty of sunshine, gorgeous landscapes, golf courses, miles of trails and South Mountain Park (one of the largest city parks in the United States) it's easy to see why the community has grown so quickly. There is something to do for everyone, year round in Ahwatukee!
